A distinct creative vision 🎨
carried all the way to launch 🚀

I combine branding, UI design, and art direction with AI-assisted development—moving quickly from concept to code, while keeping the visual character and interaction details intact.

From identity to experience.

I graduated in Communication Design from Emily Carr University of Art + Design in 2017 and began my career in branding. Working across furniture, e-commerce, education, technology, and other sectors taught me how to turn a brand’s purpose into a clear, coherent visual experience.

My later studies in Integrated Design at KISD in Cologne, Germany, broadened that perspective. Through research, speculative design, and community projects, I became more interested in how design shapes the way people interact—not only with an interface, but with one another.

A few years of building—and raising a child.

Over the past three years, I’ve focused primarily on Copus, alongside maternity leave and caring for my child. As a co-founder, I’ve worked on its interfaces, learned directly from the community, and taken on an increasingly hands-on role in developing and releasing the product.

That time has changed how I work. I’m comfortable moving between the small decisions that make an interface feel right and the larger questions of what a product should do, who it serves, and how to get it into people’s hands.

A shorter path from an idea to something real.

With AI coding tools, I can now carry a design beyond the handoff. I can implement it, inspect it in the browser, refine the behavior, and bring it through to release. A font-size adjustment, a new interaction, or an animation can become something I can try in the product straight away.

What matters most to me is the broader responsibility that comes with that ability. I can connect product direction, design, and implementation, then follow through on whether the finished experience works. I care about the visual details, and I can also execute the idea as a complete product.

What comes next.

I now have more time to take on challenging work and contribute to new teams. The combination of a design background and the ability to build has opened up more possibilities than ever, and I’m looking for opportunities to put that range to use.

I’m particularly interested in product design roles where I can help shape the direction, work closely with people across disciplines, and stay involved through delivery.
